Code of Conduct

The TLC Alliance is committed to providing a professional, inclusive, and respectful environment at all TLC Alliance-sponsored events and activities. This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, including members, board members, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and guests.

Our Commitment

We believe leadership is best modeled through respect, integrity, and inclusion. All participants are expected to contribute to a safe, welcoming, and collaborative environment.

Expected Behavior

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat all individuals with respect, dignity, and professionalism.

  • Engage in open, constructive dialogue, even when opinions differ.

  • Be mindful of personal boundaries and cultural differences.

  • Follow event guidelines and instructions from event organizers.

  • Use inclusive language and behavior in all interactions.

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind.

  • Unwelcome verbal, physical, or visual conduct.

  • Disruptive behavior that interferes with the event or others’ participation.

  • Inappropriate or offensive comments, jokes, or imagery.

  • Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern.

Reporting Concerns

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it promptly to a TLC Alliance event organizer, the Board President, Secretary, any other Board of Directors Member or the Executive Director. Reports may be verbal or written and will be handled confidentially where possible.

Response & Enforcement

The TLC Alliance reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this Code of Conduct. Actions may include a verbal warning, removal from the event without refund, or further action as determined by the Board of Directors.

By attending a TLC Alliance event, you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct and support a respectful, inclusive community.
